Before beginning a new assignment at a synagogue in Pacific Palisades, B&B's Armed Shift Lead prepared by conducting an initial site assessment.
The assessment included reviewing ingress and egress points, identifying emergency exits, verifying fire-extinguisher locations, confirming panic-button locations and functionality, becoming familiar with the CCTV system, establishing access-control procedures, and preparing for routine exterior patrols.
